I should trust you
Because you tucked me in
You should love me
Even though we aren't blood
Crying softly
wishing for death
stomach hurting
all alone nothing left
I will not drink your soapy water
not sorry for my sins
I wish I could trust you
Like I did back then
I'll pray now to Elijah
Maybe he'll take me away
In his chariot of fire
I'll leave this earthly place
I will not drink the soapy water
I will no longer call you mother
How do you even explain Musty Moth? Karl Kuehn is an internet celebrity, and Graham and Kory are the best sidekicks anyone could ask for. This band is really special. Pop punk? Late Bloomer
Totally Slow sounds like all of the things you liked about early Thrasher Skate Rock comps. Imagine the Adolescents, mixed with The Faction and then throw in a little bit of surf. Late Bloomer
Fuzzy Indie/pop punk that gets compared to Best Coast and Tiger Trap but are easily way more aggro. Their new 7" is out now on Negative Fun//Self Aware Records Late Bloomer
Took a few listens to catch me but when it did, whew. Takes me back to the days of 90s emo but with lyricism that goes so far beyond. The breadth of musical styles on display, the breadth of subjects covered, adds up to a towering, humanistic work. Few bands can be so hook-averse yet so packed with creativity, and there's at least one vocal moment on every single track that blows me away. I can't imagine this not winding up being the best punk album of '21. PaintedDogs
